Project Engineer
KME Systems - Irvine, CA - Irvine, CA - Full Time
KME Systems is looking for a project engineer to join our team to optimize, implement, and maintain our clients’ cloud and on-premises server environments.
Responsibilities include deploying and debugging systems, as well as executing new cloud initiatives. Ultimately, you will ensure our clients’ systems meet the needs of our security and operational processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft cloud-based solutions
- Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft on-premises based systems
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
- Ensure efficient functioning in accordance with company security policies and best practices
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities.
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs
- Be an escalation point for help desk engineers for Office365, Microsoft server needs.
- Work directly with clients on projects
Requirements
- Excellent English proficiency
- Strong knowledge with
- Office365
- Azure
- Azure Virtual desktop
- Networking / Firewalls
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2016-2022 and migration skills
- Ability to work independently on project tasks
- Azure certifications a plus
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Client communication skills to discuss projects as needed
